My name is Roger Vilà and I am a multidisciplinary artist from Barcelona focused on performing and fine arts.

Combining both drama studies and art lessons with my master Jordi Aligué since the age of five, I combine different artistic languages in what I do. Also my influences expand in different fields. In this sense, I see myself both as artist and canvas.

In my pieces there’s a will of establishing dialogues between opposite concepts. Having started talking about elements of the modern world such as violence, communication or mobile phones, my personal style is getting slightly more organic, fluid and pleasant. Though the result can sometimes look a bit cold and technologic, I deliberately use classical techniques such as engraving, oil and charcoal on my artwork.

I have exhibited in “Museu Marítim de Barcelona” and been part of collective exhibitions, one of them taking place in Sardinia with artists such as Agustín Ibarrola, Benet Rossell and Humberto Rivas, among others.

Also, moved by exploring other artistic languages, I co-wrote and co-directed some audiovisual content and recently I have created, co-wrote, co-produced and starred “/KRAKT/“, a shortfilm-videoart alongside Salvador Sunyer.
